I classify information that we search on the web into two categories :
1. Breaking information.
2. Indexed Information.
For a piece of information that is already archived ( i mean indexed information), the existing algorithms are good.
But Breaking news most often comes from social networks. This is where twitter comes in with search.twitter.com
