I broadly classify virus into three categories :

1. Ones that steal information
2. Ones that promote the name of the creator (by logos, pictures, etc..)
3. Does not fall in the above two categories, but they cause mischief and cause damage to the system.

Now, the question is - We can understand the motive behind the first two types of virus.

What good is it for anyone to create the third type ?

Also, The third type of virus are most easily caught by antivirus programs.

…….and we still wonder… where do all these virus come from…
