Ok, I am getting right to the point, and not spending time on definitions, certification tracks etc..

The question is Should I go for MCITP or MCSE certification.. rite…

The answer is - It depends on where you stand now. Select from the two options below :

1. If you are a fresher and need to get a job / enter the networking field after getting the certifications, go for an MCSE Certification. The reason - MCSE deals with windows xp for client and server 2003 for server, which are the most widely used in industries. You need to learn the technologies that are most widely in demand.

2. If you are an already working in the Networking field, then go for MCITP. The reason - MCITP deals with vista for client and server 2008 for server, which are not fully deployed in enterprises. A person who is already experienced with the company delivery pattern can only undertake migrations to vista and server 2008. Hence, it makes sense only for an experienced professional to take MCITP certification and then hop on to the new technology bandwagon by virtue of their expertise (both domain and technocal).
