slipstreaming is the technical term used when vista and service pack 1 are combined on a single disc.
Be aware that microsoft does not officially support slipstreaming.. But so what ? there are always workarounds…
Just follow the process outlined below :
Ingredients required
1. Windows Vista Installer DVD and Windows Vista Service Pack 1 Installer - x86 or x64
2. vLite Installer
3. A blank DVD
How to create the slipstream pack
1. Install vLite
2. Insert the vista DVD.
3. Browse for the DVD Drive. (Allow vLite to copy all the files to a local drive)
4. Once SP1 files are copied, specify the vista version that is required for slipstre
aming.
5. In the next screen, select Service pack Slipstreaam and Bootable ISO ->Next
->Browse the location of standalone windows vista SP1 installer.
6. After vLite completes the integration, change the mode to Direct Burn and create your slipstreamed DVD.
and.. done..
