Google chrome release has happened amidst all the hype and reviews… it is gaining popularity… As with all google products, it is going to capture a huge chunk of the browser market.
Now, Have we noticed the terms and conditions that we have to sign (which we never read) before installing the software ?
here is the problem.. the clause 11 attempts to give google rights to any user-generated content “submitted, posted or displayed on or through” the browser … which means that at the end of the day, google owns everything streamed over chrome.
well, bloggers have noticed that and complained about it..
Google has updated the terms of service, and explained it as a user experience improvement initiative. They have also posted this on their official google blog also.
All I can say is .. nice try google..
