I have been searching for a free antivirus for my windows serve 2003. I knew it is out there on the internet.. but could’nt locate it.. Hence I was using AVG Internet security Network edition (Trial pack) which is only valid for 30 days. It is a great antivirus.. and it has served faithfully for the last 30 days… but sorry to say.. I am shifting to CLAMWIN FREE ANTIVIRUS.
Clamwin provides two levels of protection :
1. Antivirus
2. Spyware terminator.
The product is licensed under GNU General public license by the free software foundation. Hence you are free to use it, modify the code, and even suggest changes.
After installing pls note that the foll: components are updated / downloaded and enabled :
1. web security guard
2. web security database.
And.. yes you may install it on your windows 98/xp/vista also.
