I have seen a lot of gmail address with dots in between. For e.g., John peter has his gmail id as john.peter@gmail.com
But the fact is that johnpeter@gmail.com and john.peter@gmail.com are directed to the same inbox. Gmail does not read the dots while assigning email ids.

My documents… is a good concept. But the actual location of this folder is still a mystery to many computer users ( in case its shortcut is not present on desktop or start menu ). In case you have felt the need to change it location , this is what needs to be done :
